This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and above. This is a cross sector qualification aimed at current and prospective team leaders. This qualification covers the skills and knowledge needed to be a successful team leader, covering competencies applicable to a wide range of contexts. This qualification is part of an apprenticeship.
1. Entry requirements
This qualification is designed for learners who are working, or would like to work, in an entry level managerial role within any sector or industry. It’s ideal for those who are new to the managerial role or who’ve been working at that level for a short period of time. There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they have already achieved a Level 2 qualification Team Leading qualification.
2. How is this qualification Structured
To be awarded the NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Management, learners must achieve a minimum of 55 credits: a total of 31 credits from Group A a minimum of 17 credits from Group B the remaining credits can come from Group B or C. A minimum of 48 credits must be achieved at Level 3 or above.

3. Method of assessment
Apprenticeship qualifications are delivered in the workplace. You will be allocated a personal Tutor where you will be provided with support. Assessment is through a variety of methods including observations in the workplace, witness testimonies, product evidence, professional discussions, assignments and project/case studies. All evidence will be logged to your electronic portfolio of evidence.

12-18 months
5. Progression Routes
Achievement of this qualification will enable you to progress onto other Business and Management related qualifications at a Higher Education level. Practitioners may be able to progress in their careers to roles such as senior management
