Aire Vocational Training Leeds Apprenticeships

For those of you who would like to know more about Apprenticeships, what they are and what you can achieve from them please take a look at this short blog letting you know everything there is to apprenticeships.

Apprenticeships are physical work place courses where you will earn a wage alongside gaining experience. When on an Apprenticeship program you will be working towards a nationally recognised qualification in your chosen career path.

In England anyone over the age of 16 must now enter further education until the age of 18 and this is perfect for those of you who need the money while learning.

An apprentice course can take form one to four years to complete pending on what level you would like ot qualify in your chosen career. With a minimum salary of £2.65 per hour you will not be receiving the national minimum wage however many apprentices earn significantly more pending on their chosen field.

Apprenticeships are open to anyone over the age of 16 however there may be requirements when applying for these courses.

Even though you are learning in a workplace, this will not give you full responsibility when carrying out the job role, this may be because of health and safety reasons however you will earn more responsibilities as your course and yourself progresses.

Business and Administration, Children and young peoples work force, customer Service, Management and Team Leading are the main four Apprenticeships courses provided by Aire Vocational Training, if you would like to know more information about these courses please Click Here.

"We work closely with our Employers remaining as flexible as possible to ensure we meet the needs of the Employer as well as that of our Apprentices and Learners. The majority of our courses are delivered in the workplace in the form of blended learning packages and one to one training with the use of e-portfolios. However some Apprenticeships have drop in sessions provided for the Technical element and Functional Skills should the Apprentice/Learner want or require additional support. "
